Palladino was born in the early 18th century
and he was born with the voice of an angel. In order to retain this
power, he was made a castrato and became famous throughout La
Serenissima as the man who could charm the birds from out of the trees.
He acquired a patron, a master alchemist, and was given the elixir of
life. His youthful beauty, as well as his voice, were thereby suspended
in time.
He gradually became involved with the
Perigrini when he discovered their shared resistance to physical
degeneration. At a dinner hosted by Giacomo Casanova, he met Severin.
Two hundred years later, they remain united.
Palladino has an almost obsessive need for
harmony in the world around him. He is intolerant of discord and
will seek to eliminate it at all costs.
Palladino uses his beautiful voice and
expertise on the lute to provide musical entertainment at the Zirkus.
He is Severin's
partner and is treated with love and respect by the rest of the troupe.
Severin and Vivaldi.
Mess and fuss.
This one has taken a LONG time to resincarnate.
I didn't buy a Bernard when the company warned that they were to go on
hiatus to produce a new body sculpt as I hoped that the new body would
be a better body. One that didn't look starved and that could
stand unsupported. However, what Mr Kim produced was a tall,
stringy insectoid thing that would be fine for alien characters but
would not suit soft, sensual Palladino. And not many original
Bernards were appearing on the secondary market. Those that did
turn up were selling for ridiculously over-inflated prices. Then,
one day, I found a wonderful buyer who sold me her Bernard. And he
came from Italy. How perfect is that? So, after a year of
angst, I finally got my dream doll. Happy ending!
